WEEKEND TRIPS FROM PERTH
Ready for a weekend escape? You're in luck; we have compiled four places you and your teardrop can explore in a weekend, leaving from Perth. Some are well known but the others may have slipped you by unnoticed. Keep reading to find out our recommendations for your next trip.

Where is Martin’s Tank?
Martin’s tank is about an hour and a half’s drive from Perth, south of Dawesville and inland slightly from Preston Beach. While this lovely location could be a day trip, it is best to make it a weekend and immerse yourself in the scenery that abounds.
Redeveloped in 2013 and located along the banks of Martin’s Tank Lake,the campground has 29 individual campsites: five walk-in sites are suitable only for tents; 10 individual sites for tents; five sites for campervans and camper trailers; and nine sites that can accommodate caravans,camper trailers and large campervans.
A short walk will provide your senses with stunning surroundings and wildlife, perfect for birdwatchers and photographers alike, especially at sunset. Also nearby are the Thrombolytic, which is another magnificent spot for nature lovers and photographers.

Where is Busselton?
Located about two and a half hours drive from Perth is Busselton, famous for its sheltered beaches and very long timber Jetty (Almost 2km!). This is a fantastic place for taking the whole family along or for those that want both nature and more everyday facilities.
Busselton has all the usual things you may expect in a town or smallcity – shopping, cafes, restaurants, bars, a movie theatre and a world-classskate park – however, it is also a gateway to explore more of the southwestregion, such as Yallingup and Cape Naturaliste.
For those that want to stay in town, why not take a walk or train rideto the end of the Jetty? There you will find the Underwater Observatory whereyou can see amazing marine life, and discover for yourself why this is oneof the main attractions.

Where is Gracetown?
3 hours down south from Perth and roughly half way between the Yallingup and Margaret River regions you will find the gorgeous Gracetown. The heart of this place is Cowaramup Bay - a beautiful bay, containing two world-class surf breaks (North Point & South Point) known to shake up even the best surfer on its day and a smaller, mellow surf break (Huzza's) which is perfect for beginners.
You will also found Gracie's General Store as it is known, in the same bay. The closest caravan park - Gracetown Caravan Park - is located along Cowaramup Bay Road, just off the famous Caves Road and is a great location for exploring both the coast and this areas amazing wine region.
The Caravan Park, which even has dedicated caravan bays, also has camping and chalet accommodation. While the facilities include free undercoverBBQs, camper kitchens, and modern laundry with dryers, boat parking, children's playground, mini golf, tennis court, basketball court, outdoor cinema and a convenience store.

Where isHoneymoon Pool?
Honeymoon pool is a picturesque camping and picnic spot set among beautiful trees within Wellington National Park. The campground can be found on the banks of the Collie River, and provides 20 individual campgrounds for tents and small campervans only.
This place screams (well rather, whispers) serenity, from the tall peppermints to the cool, refreshing water of Honeymoon Pool itself. During the week or winter, this place is very quiet, perfect for those looking more for solitude then companions, while on the weekends, especially those in summer, it becomes more lively, think; family, BBQs and laughter.
Popular activities include camping, picnics, bush walking, bird watching,swimming, canoeing and even fishing for marron or trout in the right season(restrictions apply)
